Pella Rolscreen Foundation | The Larned A. Waterman Iowa Nonprofit Resource Center - The University of Iowa Pella Rolscreen Foundation The Pella Rolscreen Foundation seeks to contribute to the civic, cultural, educational, social and physical environment in which Pella Corporation team members reside through gifts to active, nonprofit, charitable organizations whose purpose coincides with this goal.
Direct grants will be complemented by an employee Matching Gift Program and a Volunteer Recognition Program that will provide for ongoing support to local charities.
In 2021, the following grants were awarded by the Pella Rolscreen Foundation: Spirit of Pella downtown enhancement initiative, $50,000; Knoxville Hospital, emergency services renovation, $25,000; Pleasantville Betterment Organization, all-inclusive playground equipment, $25,000; Newton High School, CNC equipment for industrial technology program, $20,000; PCM High School, 3D printer for industrial technology program, $12, 000; Iowa State Fair Foundation, Pella Plaza improvements and expansion, $48,500; Kuemper Catholic School Foundation, window replacement nd high school building enhancement, $25,000; Pella Police Department K9 program, $18,000.
Pella Corporation employee scholarships, $183,000; Mahaska Environmental Education Center, $33,000; Central College Scholarships, $225,000; New World Symphony America's Orchestral Academy, $2,500; WISE (Women in Science and Engineering), $10,000; Habitat for Humanity of Marion County, $5,000; Knoxville Public Library, $50,000.

These entities are invited to submit grant requests. Proposals should address one or more of the priorities outlined in the Foundation’s Purpose.
