The Peoples Bank Foundation | Peoples Bank Fostering a Lasting Impact For over 20 years, the Peoples Bank Foundation has distributed contributions across our communities to foster a lasting impact and continue to increase support of local programs that help low to moderate-income individuals and families. Since its inception, the Foundation has awarded $8 million in grants and scholarships.
The deadline to submit applications for quarterly reviews are: March 31, June 30, September 30 and December 1. Communication of the grant decision will be made via email within 30 days of the quarterly due date.
2025 Foundation Annual Report The Peoples Bank Foundation serves the communities in Peoples Bank’s footprint of: Ohio, West Virginia, Kentucky, Virginia, Washington D. C. , Maryland, Burlington, VT ( North Star Leasing ) and Excelsior, MN ( Vantage Financial ).
We only accept grant requests directly from the 501(c)(3) organization seeking the grant. We do not accept grants from freelance or third-party grant writers. Approved by the IRS as a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt, charitable organization.
Request should not be for operating costs, payroll, salaries or stipends. You may only submit one application to the Peoples Bank Foundation annually. • Our grant application process is in partnership with Blackbaud.

Community Investment and Economic Development Peoples values the many community-focused organizations that exist to strengthen the infrastructure of our communities and families. Each year, we contribute to local parks, trails, playgrounds, community centers, historic landmarks and more.
Our youth will be our tomorrow. Peoples strives to protect the potential of the next generation by continually supporting and emphasizing educational opportunities for our youth. We contribute school supplies, scholarship funds and educational materials to students.
We also partner with local schools and community organizations to lead recreational, cultural and financial literacy programs. Health and Human Services Peoples Bank helps various local food banks and nonprofit organizations provide individuals and families with food, clothing, health care support and other life-changing resources.
We also raise funds and awareness for worthy causes like medical research, anti-poverty, domestic violence prevention and more. We believe fostering creativity and promoting the arts can help stimulate local economies and cultivate vibrant communities. We support numerous arts and cultural initiatives like art centers, museums, concerts and children’s music, art and theater programs.

The Homeless Youth Program is a grant from the Illinois Department of Human Services that funds services for homeless and at-risk youth across Illinois.
