Designed for students who are not enrolled full time in a public or private school, the PEP Scholarship provides an education savings account (ESA) that families can use for approved educational expenses, giving them the flexibility to choose the learning experiences and resources that best fit their child's needs.

The Florida Tax Credit Scholarship (FTC), including the Personalized Education Program (FTC-PEP), gives families the flexibility to customize their student's education through an Education Savings Account (ESA).

An ESA allows scholarship funds to be used for approved educational expenses that support a student's individual learning needs.

The following categories of items and services are eligible expenses under the scholarship: Tuition and fees at an eligible private school, including part-time enrollment and hybrid eligible private school At an eligible postsecondary institution , including those participating in the National Council for State Authorization Reciprocity Agreements (NC-SARA) For a full-time private tutoring program At an approved online or virtual provider As a private-pay student for Florida Virtual School At an FLDOE approved pre-apprenticeship program Standardized testing fees, including test proctoring and administration Contracted services provided by a public school or school district Part-time tutoring and Choice Navigator services 2026-27 Scholarship Amounts At this time, EMA will continue to display the 2025–26 scholarship amounts while we update our systems.

Your child may qualify for a PEP Scholarship if they meet the following criteria: Students in grades K–12 who are not enrolled full time in a public or private school* Open to all families, regardless of household income *Students must be at least 5 years old by September 1 and younger than twenty-one (21) years old on or before September 1st of the year the application is submitted.
