Business and property owners may be eligible to receive grant money for storefront improvements. Examples of eligible improvements: See-through security grills The program can reimburse up to 50 percent of the cost of eligible improvements to a maximum of $20,000 for a single commercial property, or up to $30,000 for a multiple-address or corner business property.

To participate, follow these steps. Confirm your property's eligibility To apply, your property must be located on an approved corridor. Check to see if your address is on an eligible block .

gov and you will be matched with a relationship manager. This person will be a City staff member or a representative from a neighborhood organization. Your relationship manager will contact you directly.
They will walk you through the process of applying for the Storefront Improvement Program. After discussing improvements with your relationship manager, it’s time to apply. You can also apply without a relationship manager if you wish to do so.
