Community Assistance Division | Pima County, AZ Community Assistance Division Community Assistance Division The Pima County Community Assistance Division houses social services necessary to aid the community's most under-resourced. The division administers the Community Action Agency as well as Outside Agency programs within Pima County. The Community Assistance Division is located at 801 W.

Every day, we provide immediate support, paired with caring, short term case management, wraparound services, and budget coaching to households facing the imminent risk of homelessness or utility shutoff. m. to 5 p. m.
(closed noon to 1 p. m.) Funding is dependent on availability and whether the applicant meets federal eligibility requirements.
As the designated Community Action Agency since 1981, the division has established excellent partnerships with many community-based organizations.
Major partners include our seven Emergency Services Network (ESN) agencies, 11 Community Services Block Grant (CSBG) agencies, and our five LIHEAP Affiliate agencies, which empower CAD to provide assistance to eligible individuals and families to support basic needs, prevent homelessness, and promote self-sufficiency.

Applicant's state-issued picture ID Applicant's proof of U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Legal Residence (birth certificate, naturalization papers, permanent resident card, U.S. passport) Social security cards for all household members Birth certificates for children 17 and under Proof of all household income for the past 30 days (pay stubs, current award letters, etc.) Rental eviction and/or late notice and/or lease Current mortgage statement/coupon Current utility bills (electric, gas, water) NOTE: No cable or telephone bills Supporting documentation regarding the crisis that caused you to get behind in your rent/mortgage/utility payments Please note : Additional information may be required at the time of the appointment.
