Grant Application | The Pink Warriors Foundation Relatable Support Volunteer We are currently seeking compassionate breast cancer survivors to serve as Relatable Support Volunteers. If you’ve experienced the journey of breast cancer and feel called to support others facing a diagnosis, we invite you to join our peer support program.
As a Relatable Support Volunteer, you’ll offer a listening ear, empathy, and encouragement through virtual one-on-one visits with women currently undergoing treatment. Volunteers set their own availability and can choose how many support requests to accept. While no professional experience is required, your lived experience and willingness to connect can make a lasting impact on someone in need of hope and understanding.
A mandatory interview will be required as part of the selection process, and if chosen, volunteers must complete a two-hour training session to ensure they are prepared to provide effective and compassionate support. Although this is a volunteer position and there is no recurring compensation, periodic in-kind gifts will be provided as a token of appreciation for your time, commitment, and dedication to the women we serve.
If you are interested in becoming a Relatable Support Volunteer, please complete the application to get started. We look forward to welcoming you to the Relatable team! If selected, you will receive an email to set up an interview call.
