PNM Power Grant

PNM Power Grant is sponsored by PNM Resources Foundation. Provides flexible funding to nonprofit organizations in New Mexico that advance education, environmental stewardship, and economic vitality. This includes initiatives that support creating and sustaining jobs and job or skills training.

Some past grants have focused on energy-efficient upgrades.

Apply for a Community Grant Each year, the PNM | TNMP Foundation awards more than $1 million in grants to support nonprofit organizations serving our communities. In 2026, eligible New Mexico nonprofits are invited to apply for the PNM Power Grant, which provides flexible funding to organizations advancing education, environmental stewardship, and economic vitality across the state.

Apply for the 2026 Power Grant PNM offers ongoing support to nonprofit organizations through Match Grants, Volunteer Grants, and the Volunteer Excellence Award each designed to recognize and amplify the impact of PNM employees and retirees who give back to their communities. In 2026, the PNM | TNMP Foundation's Matching Grant Program will provide a 2:1 match, allowing eligible employees or retirees to triple the impact of their giving.

For every $1 donated, the Foundation will contribute $2 to qualifying organizations. As an employee or retiree, you can provide financial support to the organizations where you volunteer, with up to $2,000 available per year and no more than $1,000 awarded to any single organization by the PNM | TNMP Foundation.

Collectively, the PNM Resources Foundation has proudly contributed over $30 million to hundreds of charitable organizations across New Mexico over the past 40 years.

Grant Program: 40th Anniversary Community Impact Grants, Reduce Your Use Grants Focus Areas: Education · Inclusion · Environment · Community Vitality The Foundation celebrated its 40th anniversary by awarding $700,000 to 44 nonprofits across New Mexico and Texas. Recipients were honored at the African American Performing Arts Center in Albuquerque with a special student-led Artrageous performance.
