Post-Secondary School | Washington County Community Foundation Scholarships for Students Preschool, Primary and Secondary School Graduate School and Other Scholarships for Students Scholarships for Post-Secondary (Undergraduate) School The Foundation provides both need-based and merit-based scholarships to students in Washington County, with a few scholarships also available to students in Greene County.
While each scholarship opportunity has its own criteria and requirements, the Foundation utilizes a universal application for the opportunities outlined in this section. An essay response, FAFSA Student Aid Report, and/or transcript may be required for a student to be considered for certain scholarships. The universal application will indicate any necessary supporting documentation required.
The Foundation has some discretion to expand the criteria for some funds, when no applicant meets the identified criteria. All scholarships are made payable to the educational institution the student is attending. Questions regarding the application process should be directed to scholar@wccf.

Other circumstances that could lead to the rescission of a scholarship include but are not limited to: if a student is placed on academic and/or disciplinary probation, or if a student does not enroll full-time in a program of study for the time period in which the award is to be in effect. The WCCF has the sole and exclusive authority to make decisions as to eligibility.
