Our grantmaking approach follows lifestage milestones commonly associated with economic mobility: early childhood, school-age children, young adults, and adults & household supports.

Submit an Expression of Interest Beyond funding, Robin Hood builds relationships with our grantees through a variety of strategic capacity-building supports and opportunities: Our Management Acceleration team provides in-house consulting services to grantees, from board recruitment assistance to capacity building grants and leadership coaching.
Our Capital Grants Initiative provides grantees with advice, connections, and funding to create facilities that support their work. Our Grant Readiness and Insights Training Initiative helps talented nonprofit executives from organizations outside of our current grantee pool qualify for and secure funding. When disaster strikes in NYC, the Robin Hood Relief Fund moves nimbly to provide aid assistance.
Through our programs and special initiatives, we make strategic grants to our grantees to address poverty at all stages of life, from early childhood to school-age children and young adulthood to adulthood.
