UPS Women Exporters Indonesia Area of Focus Women Economic Empowerment Projects This project aims to empower women-owned micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in Indonesia to expand their reach into global markets.
Through a structured mentoring program, participants will gain valuable knowledge and skills in entrepreneurship, export readiness, and navigating the opportunities, challenges, and risks associated with export activities. With a target of engaging 1,500 women entrepreneurs, the program includes a 12-month implementation period, followed by a 3-month post-project evaluation to assess impact and ensure sustainability.
By fostering export capabilities among women-owned businesses, the initiative supports economic growth and gender equality in the business sector. Implemented in SMKN 32 Jakarta and SMAN 97 Jakarta, the program engages 500 students and 100 teachers and staff over seven months. Chevron Sustainable Youth Empowerment Program (SYEP) Projects The Sustainable Youth Empowerment Program (SYEP) aims to empower youth by increasing waste management awareness, sustainability, and climate change.
Implemented in SMKN 32 Jakarta and SMAN 97 Jakarta, the program engages 500 students and 100 teachers and staff over seven months. The program includes training in waste management, environmental health, and social entrepreneurship, equipping students to create innovative recycling projects. Schools are supported with infrastructure for waste segregation and policies promoting responsible waste management.
Students’ recycling projects are showcased in an exhibition, with winners receiving funding to develop their ideas further.

SMKs, which focus on vocational training, face challenges such as high unemployment rates among graduates. Despite having strong digital infrastructure, Jakarta still lags in digital literacy compared to other provinces.
The project, targeting 460 beneficiaries (including 240 SMK students), is designed to address these gaps by providing digital infrastructure, training in digital skills for non-ICT SMK students and teachers, and fostering collaboration with various stakeholders, including schools, government agencies, and the private sector.
The project is aligned with Indonesia’s efforts to revitalize vocational education and training (TVET) and help SMK graduates better access employment opportunities.

MasterCard OPPO - Power Up The Women Owned MSMEs Area of Focus Women Economic Empowerment Projects The Power Up Women MSMEs (PUWM) YCAB program aims to empower women entrepreneurs managing micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) by enhancing their financial literacy and digital marketing skills.
Implemented in Jakarta, Indonesia, the program targets 500 women entrepreneurs, equipping them with the knowledge and adaptability needed to thrive in the digital era. Spanning seven months, the program is structured into three interrelated phases to ensure a comprehensive approach to building participants’ capacity for business success.

Youth Digital Acceleration - Chris Loh Projects The program aims to provide underprivileged youth with equal career opportunity to address the issue of high unemployment in youth and lack of digital talent in Indonesia. Through the program, youth will be given access to basic coding along with a career prep workshop which covers necessary training on work-readiness and 21st century skills.
The Top 10 participants will receive further intervention and be enrolled in an intensive coding bootcamp. After the completion they will be mentored, coached and connected to employers to obtain employment.

Target Beneficiary 250 Youths Project Period Dec - May 2024 The collaboration between PT IMCD Indonesia and YCAB Foundation will cover education costs for 25 YCAB Foundation students along with internet data, health kits, and basic needs supplies. Projects This program aims to inspire young students to explore STEM education through the sponsorship of high school education.
The students will be able to connect their interests and skills with potential STEM careers and receive training on new skills and work readiness. The first phase of the collaboration between PT IMCD Indonesia and YCAB Foundation will cover education costs for 25 YCAB Foundation students along with internet data, health kits, and basic needs supplies.
Moreover, a STEM program will be implemented by building the teaching capacity of YCAB teachers. Throughout this phase, PT IMCD Indonesia’s employees will be invited to create interactive classes as a part of the volunteering session. To top off this program, a fully-funded university scholarship will be given to 1 eligible YCAB Foundation student.
Target Beneficiary 25 students Centratama Online Learning Amidst Indonesia's shift to online schooling, Centratama Group stepped in to help 70 marginalized students of YCAB Foundation by providing a year's worth of education support, including devices and internet quota. Centratama Online Learning Projects Indonesia’s education shifted to a new normal from face-to-face to online schooling.
Marginalized students faced many challenges to continue their education. This included a lack of appropriate devices, accessibility, and connectivity. Centratama Group provided support for 70 students of YCAB Foundation to continue their online learning by providing them with a year’s education support including devices and internet quota.
The gift of hope from Centratama Group is extended to the commitment of their employees to giving back by providing special classes to share about career choices in the professional workplace. Target Beneficiary 70 students Project Period Sep 2021 - Sep 2022 Addresses the disparity in the STEM field and lack of ready-to-work digital talents by providing STEM and 21st century skills training to girls.
Projects In Indonesia, females account for only 2% of total students in STEM-based Vocational High Schools. Hence, in YCAB’s collaboration with Orica, an Australian-based multi-national corporation, an engineering program was developed to provide innovative online training and mentorship to 100 high school science teachers and 7,000 female students to inspire them to pursue careers in the STEM industry.

Lautan Luas STEM and Work Readiness Projects PT Lautan Luas Tbk and YCAB provided education to 100 youth in West Jakarta regarding STEM and work readiness through 24 weeks of training and mentoring. This program focuses on introducing STEM, job readiness, and coding for the 50 best participants. The program offers activities and modules based on the needs of youth and current trends in the technology industry.
After the training, the beneficiary will receive career assistance which aims to enable them to adjust to job interviews, understand the world of work, understand their interests and talents, and make future career choices. The goal is to prepare them for successful careers in the STEM field and address Indonesia’s need for 9 million digital talents by 2030.

Mastercard Power UP the MSMEs Area of Focus Women Economic Empowerment Projects The training program focused on teaching English language and Product Branding capabilities, benefiting 100 MSMEs in Labuan Bajo by helping them improve their business outcomes.
Through hybrid intervention (offline and online), the program has empowered participants to communicate verbally in English while further enabling them to pivot their business online.
The program is also part of Mastercard, YCAB Foundation, BRI, Grab and HIN’s commitment to supporting the government’s efforts in developing Labuan Bajo as a super priority destination for tourism and promoting it as a leading tourist destination in Indonesia. With the newly added English Language training, this program has reported a satisfaction rate of 98 percent.
