Powering Agriculture: An Energy Grand Challenge for Development | Department of Economic and Social Affairs Powering Agriculture: An Energy Grand Challenge for Development The Powering Agriculture: An Energy Grand Challenge for Development initiative seeks to identify and support new and sustainable approaches to accelerate the development and deployment of clean energy solutions for increasing agriculture productivity and/or value in developing countries.
Implementation of the Project/Activity The Founding Partners of Powering Agriculture: An Energy Grand Challenge for Development have committed resources to finance grants, technical assistance, market partnership facilitation, and guarantees to support the increased use of clean energy technology throughout the energy-ag-water-food nexus.
