That's why we created our Emergency Cell Phone Grant. Organizations that offer emergency or wraparound services can apply to receive up to ten cell phone packages, complete with three months of prepaid service and a food gift card.

To be eligible for this grant, organizations must: be a 501(c)(3) organization be based in the United States or U.S. territories primarily serve members of the LGBTQ+ community in the U.S. or territories ​ offer emergency or wraparound services to clients WHAT DEVICES ARE PROVIDED THROUGH THIS GRANT?

​ This grant provides smartphones, three months of prepaid service per phone (on T-Mobile or AT&T network), and a food gift card valid at a number of restaurants. WHAT DEVICES CAN I EXPECT? IS EVERYTHING NEW?

Yes, all devices from PowerOn are new. Phones are BLU brand. Service is provided via prepaid Tracfone cards.

HOW MANY DEVICES CAN WE RECEIVE? Centers may apply for up to ten phones at a time. Once these have been distributed and reports are submitted, the center may apply for another ten phones.

WHAT REPORTING IS REQUIRED FOR THIS GRANT? Upon distribution of each device, grantee must fill out a simple online form to provide anonymous demographic information about the recipient.
