PowerSave Indiana provides accessible, below-market unsecured financing statewide for a wide range of sustainable home improvements, including solar, battery storage, HVAC, insulation, and weatherization.
The program uses flexible and borrower-friendly underwriting based on ability to repay, with no minimum credit score requirement. PowerSave Indiana loans are available in all parts of the state outside of Northeast Indiana.
Sustainable Home Improvement Loan Energy efficiency upgrades (HVAC, insulation, water heaters), plumbing and water/sewer improvements, wind mitigation measures, EV charging stations, and other qualifying home improvements $3,000 – $25,000; unsecured; rate may vary depending on program or funding; equipment must meet applicable efficiency/code requirements Solar photovoltaic systems (rooftop or ground-mounted), solar battery storage, and EV charging stations $3,000 – $50,000; rate depends on loan size; equipment must meet applicable code requirements Home accessibility improvements for households with disabled members (e.g., ramps, walk-in showers, mobility adaptations) $3,000 – $15,000; proof of disability required; rate may depend on special funding availability Offered interest rates are subject to change without notice.
