PowerUp NetZero - OC for Business Innovation and Technology Adoption Services - Cascade Funding Hub PowerUp NetZero - OC for Business Innovation and Technology Adoption Services Funding supports SMEs to access external services for planning and adopting net-zero technologies through innovation and technology uptake activities.
The PowerUp NetZero Open Call for Business Innovation and Technology Adoption Services provides financial support to SMEs and start-ups to facilitate their green and digital transition. It focuses on enabling the adoption and improvement of net-zero technologies through external expert services. The call supports pre-investment activities aimed at strengthening innovation capacity and market uptake.
TYPE OF PROJECTS TO BE FUNDED : Pre-investment services supporting adoption and improvement of net-zero technologies, including feasibility studies, technology adoption roadmaps, integration planning, digital solutions, ESG and compliance support, and go-to-market activities. Services must be delivered by external providers and linked to specific technologies.
SECTORS / DOMAIN : Net-zero technologies, specifically solar energy, battery and energy storage, hydrogen technologies, sustainable biogas and biomethane, and carbon capture and storage, including related digital solutions. INDIVIDUAL OR CONSORTIUM : Only individual applicants are allowed; applications must be submitted by single SMEs or start-ups.
SPECIFIC ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS : Applicants must be SMEs or start-ups established in EU Member States or countries participating in the Single Market Programme, with at least one closed financial year, and must not be under exclusion conditions or conflict of interest. Intermediary organisations are not eligible.
SPECIFIC TOPICS OR CHALLENGES : The call is focused on five predefined net-zero technology areas; applicants must select at least one from solar energy, battery and energy storage, H2 technologies, sustainable biogas and biomethane and carbon capture ans storage (CCS). PROJECTS DURATION : Up to 7 months, activities must be completed by 27th May 2027.
BUDGET, FUNDING RATES AND PAYMENT CONDITIONS : Budget conditions / limitations: Maximum EUR 20,000 per beneficiary; minimum 20% co-funding required from private sources. Payments: 50% interim payment after approval of interim report (subject to financial viability conditions) and 50%–100% final payment after completion and approval of final report.
