Practice Site Recruitment and Retention Incentive > Practice Sites Practice Site Recruitment and Retention Incentive Practice Site Recruitment and Retention Incentive is a $50,000 grant available to practice sites in rural or underserved areas of Tennessee. This incentive can assist with your recruiting or retention needs.
Acceptable positions to use funds for are primary care physicians, psychiatrists, psych nurse practitioners, and dentists.
Awarded funds can be used for: Tuition or loan repayment Awarded participants are required to complete a “ Funds Verification of Use ” form and return to TCWD along with the provider’s hiring contract and other necessary supporting documentation within 180 days for approval before funding is provided. If all of the funds awarded are not utilized, the participant must return the remaining funds to TCWD.

If you have any questions, please email 117 practice sites since 2016 49 counties received funding for the recruitment and retention of primary care physicians, psychiatrists, psychiatric nurse practitioners, and dentists.

Not when it could pay a salary or offset the cost of services.
