Pre-Employment Transition Services curriculum and provider grant opportunity | Ohio Department of Education and Workforce Pre-Employment Transition Services curriculum and provider grant opportunity Free resource available for students with disabilities to explore career interests The new Pre-Employment Transition Services (Pre-ETS) curriculum is available for educators and service providers to use with transition-age students with disabilities (beginning at age 14) who would benefit from exploring career interests and options.
This is a free resource available to anyone. It can be found on the Ohio Employment First website under the Pre-Employment Transition Services tab. The creation of this resource, led by OCALI and Opportunities for Ohioans with Disabilities (OOD), was a collaborative statewide effort, including various state agencies, educators, service providers, vocational rehabilitation consultants, families, and advocates.
Additionally, the Ohio Department of Education and Workforce plans to provide up to 11 grant opportunities to support educational agencies in becoming Pre-ETS providers. Applicants will be able to receive up to $8,500 to support their learning. The steps to becoming a Pre-ETS provider will be provided in the grant application and can also be found on the OOD website .
