The SAA may apply on behalf of one or more eligible agencies. If the SAA submits an application on behalf of any agency, those agencies covered under the SAA’s application cannot also apply directly to FEMA for funding under the applicable year’s Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO). Multiple applications may result in a delay in reimbursement and/or an application to be denied funding. Coordination between the SAA and any eligible agencies agency is therefore encouraged. Vinnova, Sweden's national innovation agency, funds projects developing applied AI solutions for Swedish industry through its Advanced Digitalization Programme.
