The Primary Care Training and Enhancement – Residency Training in Street Medicine (PCTE-RTSM) program provides funding for training for residents enrolled in accredited primary care residency programs to provide care for people experiencing homelessness. Awardees may use funds to support enrolled Graduate Medical Education residents. HRSA will award approximately $9.

5 million per year to approximately 19 grantees over a period of 5 years through this funding opportunity. Accredited public and nonprofit private hospitals Accredited schools of medicine and osteopathic medicine Public and private nonprofit organizations.

Applicant organizations must operate a residency program in family medicine, internal medicine, pediatrics, or combined internal medicine and pediatrics that is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education.
