€900K Open Innovation Call | PRIMARY PRIMARY is excited to announce our upcoming Open Call, offering €900,000 in funding to support innovative partnerships that will validate, adapt and scale sustainable agricultural solutions across Europe.
We’re seeking dynamic consortia of 2-3 partners who will: Validate and refine PRIMARY’s proven business models for agricultural waste valorisation Demonstrate the replicability and scalability of PRIMARY’s innovative processes in new European regions Generate practical evidence of technical feasibility, economic viability, and sustainability under real rural conditions Develop profitable value chains from underutilised agricultural feedstocks €150,000 maximum for 3-partner consortia €100,000 maximum for 2-partner consortia €50,000 maximum per individual partner Our Open Call will fund 6-9 groundbreaking sub-projects.
We welcome applications from consortia that include: At least one technical partner (capable of testing/applying/validating the technology/process) At least one partner from either: Public sector: universities, research institutions, public bodies Private sector: primary producers, cooperatives, start-ups, SMEs, NGOs Call launch: March 9, 2026 Call deadline: June 8, 2026 Project implementation: November 2026 – April 2028 Duration: 1-18 months per sub-project Join a European movement towards sustainable agriculture and circular economy.
