The Prison to Employment (P2E) program, in partnership with San Joaquin Regional Workforce Development Boards, fosters relationships and increases collaboration, innovation, and systems change between local workforce boards, California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (CDCR) reentry service providers, CDCR Division of Adult Parole Operations, and community-based organizations that serve formerly incarcerated and justice-involved individuals.
The program creates opportunities for formerly incarcerated and justice-involved individuals to successfully return to their communities and the labor force.

Prison to Employment Guidance | CWDB Resources and Guidance For Grantees Prison to Employment (P2E) grantees can access key resources and guidance to support all phases of grant implementation such as onboarding, grant implementation, and reporting. Using these materials promotes consistency and strengthens program performance to achieve optimal grantee outcomes.
