D. — The NSF AgTech Engine in North Dakota is pleased to announce a new Request for Proposals (RFP) supporting innovative agricultural technology projects that deliver real, on-the-ground value for producers and agricultural operations.
The Producer-Engaged Agricultural Technology Project funding is designed to close critical funding gaps for producer and end-user focused agricultural technology initiatives that address practical agricultural challenges through deployable technology solutions.
Projects that improve efficiency, resilience, and profitability in agriculture, with a strong emphasis on real-world deployment and adoption in working operations will be prioritized. Agriculture producers, startups, innovators, and researchers are encouraged to apply.
Projects are sought in the following focus areas: Water and Resource Resilience Intelligent Operations and Logistics Breeding, Genetics, and Predictive Biology Regenerative Systems and Crop Protection Quality, Nutrition, and Value-Added Markets Funding of up to $100,000 per project is available, with multiple awards anticipated.
A webinar with additional information about the funding opportunity and application process will be held on June 11, at 10 AM CST. The application deadline is July 19, 2026. Program details and application materials can be found at https://farmsfeedstheworld.
