The Product Development Cancer Prevention Research Institute of Texas, or the Product Development CPRIT Award is a valuable funding resource for oncology startups. As funding becomes more difficult to attain, Texas believes in investing in the cure for cancer through CPRIT grants.
Let's walk through the process of how to apply for product development CPRIT grant. First, it's important to note that the CPRIT proposals follow the guidelines provided by the request for application or RFA. This is where information such as deadlines, eligibility requirements, evaluation criteria, funding limits and special considerations can be found.
All applicants must submit proposals to CPRIT electronic portal by creating a user account and designating an authorized signing official through cpritgrants. org . In addition to the proposal, product development applicants must submit a preliminary application containing a two page executive summary a 16 slide overview of the scientific basis for the proposed project and a one page explanation of the project aims and requested budget.
CPRIT Grants are unique. Its funds are only awarded to companies, organizations and institutions residing in Texas. However, companies and institutions operating in Texas can communicate and collaborate with companies outside of the state.
