LeadingAge PA - Workforce Grants & Scholarships | LeadingAge PA Professional Development Scholarships Professional Development Scholarships Administrator-in-Training Grant Professional Development Scholarships LeadingAge PA is proud to continue supporting the growth of professionals in Pennsylvania’s aging services sector through our Professional Development Scholarships.
These scholarships are designed to help staff advance their careers while strengthening the workforce that serves older adults every day. The application window is now closed. Spread the word about the scholarship program in your community by sharing and displaying the materials below: Employees of LeadingAge PA member communities are eligible to apply.
Applicants are evaluated by a selection task force on their commitment to aging services, educational goals, and long-term potential in the sector. Scholarships may be applied toward degrees, certifications, continuing education, and professional training programs. The total number of scholarships awarded is based on the number of applications received.
Additional financial support may be available to awardees enrolled at a LeadingAge PA Career Growth Partner. Learn more about participating universities here . Applicants must submit the completed application form and all components by April 10, 2026 .
Applicants must meet the following criteria: Be employed by a LeadingAge PA member provider for at least one year. Maintain acceptable employment during the scholarship year. Be accepted or enrolled in an appropriate college, university, training, or certification program in a nursing or non-nursing field that benefits the aging services sector.
Applicants not yet accepted into a program may still apply; however, proof of acceptance must be provided within 30 days of award notification, or the scholarship will be rescinded.
Completed application form Personal statement outlining career goals and the potential impact of the scholarship Copy of bill or statement Copy of transcripts or most recent grade report, if applicable UPON COMPLETION , proof of disbursed funds and program completion must be provided. If the requested action is not completed, the funds must be returned. Recipients for 2026 were announced in July.
