Professional Development Scholarships is sponsored by The Dyson Foundation. The Dyson Foundation offers individual program scholarships to Mid-Hudson Valley organizations for professional development opportunities for staff and board members. Scholarships are available for nonprofit finance, grantsmanship, and executive leadership programs.

Professional Development Scholarships – The Dyson Foundation General Funding Guidelines Strategic Restructuring Initiative Application Questions Preview Budget & Financial Report Form MAP Budget & Financial Report Form Mid-Hudson Community Profiles Hudson Valley Funders Network Professional Development Scholarships The Dyson Foundation offers individual program scholarships to Mid-Hudson Valley organizations interested in professional development opportunities for staff and board members.

Professional development scholarships are available toward nonprofit finance, grantsmanship, and executive leadership programs to support nonprofit board and staff development and retention.

Scholarships are available to current nonprofit staff and active board members of established 501(c)(3) Mid-Hudson Valley-based nonprofit organizations who are responsible for fiscal management and oversight; executive or governance leadership; and/or resource development. Priority is given to human service, safety net, and youth development providers.

A limited number of scholarships are available annually, and there is a general limit of one scholarship per program, per organization.

Professional development scholarships are available for: BDO’s Certified Nonprofit Accounting Professional (CNAP) training programs Certified Nonprofit Accounting Professionals – Essentials Advanced Topics in Nonprofit Fiscal Management – *Advanced *requires Essentials certification The Grantsmanship Center training programs 5-day Grantsmanship training program 2-day Essentials Grant Skills 2-day Grant Management Essentials To request CNAP or Grantsmanship Center scholarships, please contact Jennifer Killian , Program Officer.
