Project Learning Garden

Project Learning Garden is sponsored by Captain Planet Foundation. This program provides a Project Learning Garden package and mobile kitchen cart for elementary schools. It supports project-based activities performed by youth that have environmental outcomes and promote understanding of environmental issues.

Project Learning Garden – Captain Planet Foundation Project Learning Garden provides schools with outdoor learning laboratories Gardens in the schoolyard are effective outdoor learning spaces for students to engage in inquiry-driven, project-based learning across all disciplines. Project Learning Garden™ is a holistic program that provides schools with the essential elements to establish and support their garden-based learning programs.

There are currently nearly 800 Project Learning Garden schools across 46 states, London UK, and British Columbia, CA participating in this program.
