5 million in grants to 28 nonprofit organizations working to nurture, connect, advocate, and lead. PROMOTING THE OPTIMAL DEVELOPMENT OF CHILDREN FROM PRENATAL TO AGE FIVE TO INFLUENCE HEALTH AND WELL-BEING ACROSS THE LIFESPAN $50,000 in support of legal services and advocacy to improve children’s access to early intervention services and full inclusion in early childhood education.

$65,000 in support of perinatal mental health and support services and advocacy to promote Black maternal health. $50,000 in support of home visiting services for families with children from 16 months to four years old to stimulate parent-child interaction and develop children’s language, early literacy, and social-emotional skills.

$50,000 in support of a guaranteed income pilot to promote perinatal and early childhood health and well-being and reduce disparities in birth outcomes. The Philadelphia City Fund serves as the fiscal sponsor.

IMPROVING ACCESS TO EQUITABLE CARE AND SERVICES TO ADDRESS DISPARITIES IN HEALTH AND WELL-BEING African Family Health Organization $75,000 in support of culturally- and linguistically- sensitive health, human, and educational services for African and Caribbean immigrants and refugees.

$4,800 in support of participation in a fundraising workshop series focused on building skills, tools, and relationships to sustainably raise more money in less time. HUNE (Hispanos Unidos para Niños Excepcionales) $15,000 in support of bilingual case management, family advocacy, and educational support services for children and youth with disabilities and their parents/caregivers.

$50,000 in support of quality mental health care for immigrants that face barriers to access and provider training to promote culturally competent care. Nationalities Service Center $75,000 in support of services that welcome and empower immigrants and refugees to achieve a life of safety and stability, sustainable opportunities, and meaningful community connections.

$65,000 in support of services for immigrants, refugees, and other marginalized community members as they seek to advance the condition of their lives in the United States. ADVANCING POLICY, SYSTEMS, AND STRUCTURAL CHANGE TO ACHIEVE EQUITY IN HEALTH $50,000 in support of advocacy to protect and expand access to sexual and reproductive health care, family planning services, and comprehensive sex education.

$65,000 in support of advocacy to expand children’s access to quality health care and early childhood services and prevent childhood lead poisoning. $25,000 in support of community outreach and advocacy to promote Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) and Medicaid enrollment and retention.

Early Intervention Part C (Infant Toddler) Work Group of Thriving Pa $175,000 in support of statewide collaborative advocacy to improve the Pennsylvania Infant Toddler Early Intervention system. Pennsylvania Association for the Education of Young Children serves as the fiscal sponsor.

$20,000 in support of research and policy analysis by the Center for Children and Families to help states protect access to high-quality, comprehensive, and affordable health coverage for children and families. Lenfest Institute for Journalism $35,000 in support of civic engagement by Every Voice, Every Vote community partners to provide Philadelphia residents with information, tools, and opportunities to participate in local democracy.

New Voices for Reproductive Justice $50,000 in support of community organizing, civic engagement, and advocacy to advance reproductive justice by building power for and with Black women, Black queer folks, and Black marginalized people. Pennsylvania Health Access Network $75,000 in support of community outreach, organizing, and advocacy to expand and protect access to quality, equitable, and affordable health care.

Pennsylvania Partnerships for Children $75,000 in support of advocacy to promote healthy child development through access to quality health insurance, early intervention services, and child care. $75,000 in support of nonprofit collaboration and advocacy to expand civic participation, make voting easier, and secure equitable representation in state government.

BUILDING THE CAPACITY OF THE HEALTH AND HUMAN SECTORS FOR RACIAL JUSTICE AND DIVERSITY, EQUITY, AND INCLUSION BOLT (Build Our Lives Together) $40,000 in support of cultivation and empowerment of youth and grassroots leaders to drive community-led change. $25,000 in support of the design and implementation of a Salesforce data system.

$2,600 in support of participation in the Economy League 2025 Greater Philadelphia Leadership Exchange (GPLEX). The Village of Arts and Humanities $20,000 in support of leadership programs that prepare young people to enter the workforce and postsecondary education as self-determined creative problem solvers and social innovators.

$4,500 in support of participation in the Economy League 2025 Greater Philadelphia Leadership Exchange (GPLEX). TIMELY DESIGNATED/RAPID RESPONSE GRANTS ADVANCING EQUITY IN HEALTH TO ADDRESS URGENT NEEDS IN PHILADELPHIA AND POLICY, SYSTEM, AND FUNDING CHALLENGES African Family Health Organization $25,000 in support of the Wellness Clinic’s provision of health care for African and Caribbean community members.

Coordinating Capacity Strengthening Initiative $12,500 in support of development of a quality, equitable, and efficient nonprofit capacity strengthening system in the Philadelphia region. The United Way of Greater Philadelphia and Southern New Jersey serves as the fiscal sponsor.

Health Federation of Philadelphia $25,000 in support of strategic business planning support for a cohort of community health centers in the Philadelphia region. Nationalities Service Center $25,000 in support of the onsite culturally appropriate food pantry for community-based hunger relief.

Pennsylvania Association of Nonprofit Organizations $7,500 in support of nonprofit memberships to increase access to training and technical assistance and scholarships for consulting services. $50,000 in support of strengthening the capacity of local food banks to respond to increased demand. The Philadelphia Foundation serves as the fiscal sponsor.

$25,000 in support of food delivery for community-based hunger relief. $20,000 in support of advocacy to protect older adults’ access to quality health care and long-term services and supports in response to the closure of CARIE (the Center for Advocacy for the Rights and Interests of Elders). $50,000 in support of the Immediate Response Action Fund grants to gender justice organizations affected by urgent and unanticipated challenges.
