Promoting Wellness and Healing in Communities Behavioral Health Providers Promoting Wellness and Healing in Communities The Office of Mental Health announces funding for community-based organizations and partnerships to promote resilience and healing throughout New York State. This is a universal prevention project, targeted to support the wellness of all New Yorkers.
The project will focus on the expansion of mental wellness supports and strategies within a specific community. OMH will make up to 20 awards in the amount of $750,000 to each awardee for the three years. Annual funding for each of the three years is up to $250,000.
The awards distribution will cover the five OMH regions. Updated Budget Template (Revised: 11/21/2025) 3/31/26: The Office of Mental Health has determined that this RFP requires refinement in scope and will be executing its Reserved Right (Section 3. 1 / Page 6) to “Withdraw this RFP at any time, at the agency’s sole discretion”.
This RFP will be re-issued. Please monitor OMH’s website and the NYS Contract Reporter for announcement of that release. 1/27/2026: Due to the volume of applications received for this RFP, the review process will be extended.
Notification of awards will be delayed . It is currently estimated that the awards will be announced sometime in March 2026. Thank you for your patience.

NCI Continuing Umbrella of Research Experiences (CURE) Academic Career Excellence (ACE) Award (K32) is a grant from the National Cancer Institute (NCI) that funds early postdoctoral fellows from diverse backgrounds, including underrepresented groups, to pursue research training in cancer-related fields.
