Foundation Grants - Dixie Art Colony Foundation Dixie Art Colony Foundation > Foundation Grants The DAC Foundation is currently accepting applications for Promotional Grants. All applicants must be nonprofit organizations. Promotional Grants may be used for the design and development of branding, websites, and printed collateral materials.
Our focus areas include: Arts & Culture, Preserving & Sharing Alabama’s Heritage, and Historic Preservation. Both matching and nonmatching grants are available. Through our grants, we hope to assist in promoting local tourism and inspire creative industry.
Below are some general questions and information to help you determine if your organization is a candidate for a DAC Foundation Promotional Grant. Does your project address a need in at least one of the following areas: Arts & Culture or History & Historic Preservation? Could your project help support the development of a creative economy or local tourism?
Restrictions & Limitations The Foundation will not support projects that affect communities outside of the State of Alabama or projects related to political organizations, parties or causes. Generally, the Foundation will not support projects for individuals or where a group is acting on behalf of an individual. However, under certain circumstances grants for individuals or groups acting on behalf of an individual may be considered.
A limited number of Foundation Grants will be awarded each calendar year. For an application, click on the "Application Form" button below. All communication must be addressed to the DAC Foundation and sent to Post Office Box 693, Wetumpka, Alabama 36092.

The Foundation will not support projects related to political organizations, parties or causes. A cover letter outlining goals, objectives and specific needs to be addressed if you are awarded the grant. A copy of the organization's current operating budget.
