Public Education for Living Organ Donation Reimbursement Program: The goal of this program is to increase access to financial support for potential living organ donors, particularly individuals from medically underserved communities.

Living Organ Donation Reimbursement Program: This national program provides reimbursement for qualified expenses associated with living organ donation, including dependent care, lost wages, and travel for evaluation, surgery, and follow-up visits. The current three-year cooperative agreement (September 1, 2025 – August 31, 2028) was awarded in FY 2025.

Public Education for Living Organ Donation Reimbursement Program: HRSA awarded one cooperative agreement in FY 2025 to increase access to financial support for potential living organ donors, particularly those from medically underserved communities. HRSA anticipates funding the program at $7. 5M in FY 2026. **Fiscal Year 2025:** LLiving Organ Donation Reimbursement Program (LODRP): Between September 1, 2024 and August 31, 2025, the LODRP received 2,269 applications for reimbursement, approving over 90 percent of them, and facilitated 1,285 living organ transplants.

Public Education for Living Organ Donation Reimbursement Program (PE-LODRP): This is a new program with a goal to increase access to, and awareness of, financial assistance for living organ donation, particularly among medically underserved communities, through outreach and education.
