This grant ensures every U.S. community has the people, services, and systems needed to promote and protect health, enhancing the capacity of public health agencies to deliver essential services, respond to emergencies, and improve overall population health. 9 million to bolster the state's public health infrastructure over a five-year project period, from December 1, 2022 to November 30, 2027. The three focus areas of this grant are Workforce, Foundational Capabilities, and Data Modernization. The allocated funds have been strategically distributed across various counties and local health departments to ensure a comprehensive and equitable approach to public health improvement.
