Public School Facility Improvement Grant Program - PA Department of Community & Economic Development Public School Facility Improvement Grant Program The Public School Facility Improvement Grant Program (PSFIG) provides grants to public school districts and area career and technical schools for eligible facility improvement projects.
Funds may be used for the following activities: Roof repairs and roof replacement, Heating, ventilation, and air conditioning equipment, Health and safety upgrades, Window repairs and window replacement. A school entity is eligible to apply for a grant. “School Entity” is defined as a school district or area career and technical school.
Grants are available for eligible improvement projects with a total project cost of $500,000 or more. Grants shall not exceed $5,000,000 for any project. Review the program guidelines for additional details about eligible costs, matching funds, emergencies, and the application deadline and submission requirements.
Applicants must submit applications to the Enterprise eGrants System. Pennsylvania Regional Center – New American Development Fund Keystone Opportunity Zones (KOZs) Pennsylvania Economic Development Financing Authority (PEDFA) Taxable Bond Program Enterprise Zone Designation Orphan or Abandoned Well Plugging Program (OAWP)
