4 million to support moms and babies Arlington, VA — October 7, 2025 — For an impressive 10th year in a row, Publix Super Markets has been named March of Dimes’ number one corporate partner, continuing a decades-long tradition of support for maternal and infant health. In 2025, the company’s annual in-store register campaign raised nearly $5. 4 million, bringing its total contribution to more than $112 million.
“For more than three decades, Publix has stood side by side with March of Dimes to advance healthier pregnancies and stronger families,” said Cindy Rahman, President and CEO at March of Dimes. “We are deeply grateful to Publix, along with their passionate associates and generous customers, for helping us improve health outcomes for all moms and babies.
” Publix, based in Lakeland, Florida, operates more than 1,421 retail stores across eight states: Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Virginia. Each year, Publix associates and customers rally behind the March of Dimes mission by donating at the register and through associate giving in support of healthy moms and strong babies.
“We’re honored to once again be recognized as March of Dimes’ number one corporate partner,” said Publix Director of Community Relations Dwaine Stevens. “Each year, our customers and associates give so generously to support moms, babies, and healthy families. We are proud of our more than 30-year history with March of Dimes to help provide babies with the best possible start.
” Donations from Publix customers and associates directly fund March of Dimes’ critical programs and resources for families nationwide. Each year, these contributions help ensure that more than 4 million women have access to essential resources before, during, and after pregnancy through our It Starts With Mom platform and other programs.
They also support more than 50,000 families with babies in the NICU , providing education for NICU staff along with digital tools, in-person resources, and guidance to help families navigate their baby’s care and the transition home. March of Dimes leads the fight for the health of all moms and babies. We support research, education, and advocacy and provide programs and services so that every family can get the best possible start.
