Quality of Life Grants Program (Direct Effect, Priority Impact, and Expanded Impact grants) is sponsored by Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation. The Quality of Life Grants Program awards grants to nonprofit organizations that improve the quality of life for individuals living with paralysis, their families, and caregivers. Projects focus on access, independence, community engagement, and other life-enhancing endeavors.
Grants are awarded to organizations that address the needs of people living with paralysis caused by spinal cord and other injuries, diseases or birth conditions, including (but not limited to) stroke, spina bifida, multiple sclerosis, cerebral palsy and amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS).
The program offers different tiers: Direct Effect (Tier 1) for broad projects ($5,000-$24,999), Priority Impact (Tiers 2-4) for targeted high-priority issues, and Expanded Impact (Tier 5) for scaling successful initiatives (up to $100,000).
