Indo-U.S. Science and Technology Forum (IUSSTF) - Iusstf Indo-U.S. Science and Technology Forum (IUSSTF) - Iusstf The Indo-U.S. Science and Technology Forum (IUSSTF) established under an agreement between the Governments of India and the United States of America in March 2000, is an autonomous bilateral organization jointly funded by both the Governments that promotes Science, Technology, Engineering and Innovation through substantive interaction among government, academia and industry.
The Department of Science & Technology, Government of India and the U.S. Department of State are the respective nodal departments. Program Category Public Home As professional networking is an important and integral part of the scientific voyage, IUSSTF promotes and supports such networks to foster long term collaboration between the scientific communities of India and US.
Innovation & Entrepreneurship IUSSTF supports a rich portfolio of programs to promote innovation and entrepreneurship. These initiatives are S&T driven and have the capability and potential to benefit not only our two countries, but the world at large. Indo-U.S. Science & Technology Forum supports broad portfolio of R&D programs in key strategic areas that are of interest to both the countries.
Visitations & Fellowships To address the need for human resource development and capacity building in science and technology, the INDO - U.S. Science and Technology Forum (IUSSTF) is committed to nurture contacts between scientists and students from India and US Over the years, IUSSTF has launched several strategic initiatives and announced special calls as needed.
These initiatives have been driven by specific objectives, such as the special programs introduced during the Covid pandemic to collaboratively tackle the challenges of that critical period. Designed to create lasting impact, these initiatives often span multiple program areas and are aimed at driving transformative or developmental change, such as the U.S. - India Artificial Intelligence(USIAI) and the Solar Decathlon India(SDI).
U.S. - India Artificial Intelligence Initiative USIAI provides a unique opportunity for the world's two largest democracies to strengthen their strategic partnership by focusing on AI cooperation in critical areas that are priorities for both countries.
US-India Science and Technology Endowment Fund The governments of the United States of America (through the Department of State) and India (through the Department of Science & Technology) have established the United States–India Science & Technology Endowment Fund (USISTEF).
