Racquetball Conversion Grant Program is sponsored by US Squash. Racquetball Conversion Grant Program is a grant from US Squash that funds the conversion of racquetball courts into squash courts at clubs, universities, YMCAs, and fitness facilities across the United States.

Converting a racquetball court to a squash court is quite often simple and inexpensive. The cost can be as little as $10,000-$15,000 per court! Many accredited tournaments and league matches are played on 20 foot wide converted racquetball courts every season.

This has become more common as the number of converted courts continues to increase. US Squash Racquetball Court Conversion Grants are available for up to $1,000 per court. For each court to be converted, US Squash needs photos of each court before renovation, during renovation, and after renovation.

Please attach these photos when submitting your application to US Squash. As an added benefit as a part of this program, US Squash will waive Facility Affiliate Fees for the converted racqetball courts for one year. Approximate dimensions for a converted racquetball court to a singles squash court are below: Length: 9750 mm plus or minus 10 mm.

Roughly 32 feet. Width: 6096 mm plus or minus 10 mm. Roughly 20 feet.

Diagonal: 11490 mm plus or minus 25 mm. Roughly 37. 75 feet.

The back wall may be solid or glass (illustration shows a 10′ high glass wall). To prepare for the squash conversion the front 32′ of the floor is sanded, removing lines and leaving the floor with the proper unfinished squash surface. Glass back wall can be removed for optimal viewing, or door may be removed for easy access to squash court and viewing area.

If wall is solid the door is removed for access. (illustration shows glass wall removed). A 7′ high glass wall is installed at 32′ from the front wall, a tin is installed and squash court gamelines are installed using paint (floor) and tape (walls).
