STXBP1 Grants: Advancing Research and Therapies Join Raphael’s Story: Apply for a Grant Rafa’s Moonshot provides grants to enhance research, deepen our understanding of STXBP1 biology, and develop transformative therapies for STXBP1-related disorders. Accelerating Breakthroughs We provide a range of grants to support and advance STXBP1 research. We don’t support indirect costs for grants.
Igniting a spark of transformative Spark Grants offer up to $25,000 for initial, one-year studies aimed at establishing new research concepts and testing feasibility, supporting early-stage innovative ideas. Pioneering new frontiers in STXBP1 research Pioneer Grants support innovative projects with breakthrough potential. They offer up to $100,000 for 12 months and, upon review, may be extended for a second year.
Embarking on a clinical odyssey in STXBP1 therapeutics Moonshot Odyssey Grants provide up to $150,000 for 12-month, extensive STXBP1 clinical studies, either fully funding significant studies or supplementing larger trials.
We invite researchers to apply for grants that focus on innovative and impactful studies within the following key research areas: New Therapeutics and Drug Repurposing Develop innovative treatments and repurpose existing drugs for STXBP1. Focus on strategies that stabilize the mutation or enhance protein function.
Biomarkers and Clinical Endpoints Development Focus on identifying biomarkers for early detection and treatment response in STXBP1 disorders. Aim to advance clinical endpoint development for more effective therapies. AI and Advanced Technology in STXBP1 Research Utilize AI and cutting-edge technologies to deepen our understanding of STXBP1.
Harness these tools to accelerate the discovery and development of effective treatments and a potential cure. Scouting for New and Futuristic Solutions Seek out and evaluate emerging technologies poised for clinical availability in the near future. Validate their potential for diagnosing, treating, and understanding STXBP1-related disorders.
Who Is Eligible To Apply? Our grants are open to researchers at academic, hospital, non-profit, or accredited institutions worldwide. We seek proposals aligned with our mission to advance STXBP1 research, particularly those using innovative approaches.
Applying for a Rafa’s Moonshot Grant is a two-step process. First, submit a one-page Letter of Intent to grants@rafasmoonshot. com .
Our STXBP1 research experts will review and score each LOI for innovation and impact. Second, top-scoring LOIs will be invited to submit a full, detailed proposal, guided by a comprehensive application pack.
