Ramp Program – Habitat for Humanity Are you or someone you know in need of a temporary ramp? Our Ramp Program helps lower-income homeowners who are temporarily affected by disability and struggle to maintain access in and out of their homes. HFHCM works to eliminate barriers to housing stability by focusing on accessibility so people can remain in their own homes.
After the homeowner is qualified, Habitat installs a temporary, aluminum ramp for 6 months. If, after 6 months, the homeowner is still in need, a 6-month extension may be granted while the individual investigates and secures a permanent solution.
