RANGE EXTENDERS FOR ELECTRIC AVIATION WITH LOW CARBON AND HIGH EFFICIENCY (REEACH) is sponsored by Advanced Research Projects Agency-Energy (ARPA-E), U.S. Department of Energy (DOE). The REEACH program aims to develop disruptive systems to convert the chemical energy contained in energy-dense carbon neutral liquid fuels (CNLFs) into electric power for aircraft propulsion via electric powertrains and other key systems.
