RARE Mental Health Impact Grant is sponsored by Global Genes. This grant, offered in 2023, supported rare disease patient organizations in creating support networks and developing educational tools and programming to address mental health challenges and support emotional well-being within their communities.

RARE Patient Impact Grant Opportunities - Global Genes RARE Impact Grant Opportunities In the past, Global Genes has provided grants to rare disease patient advocacy organizations to make specific, tangible differences for the communities they serve.

In 2024, grants were awarded to Global Advocacy Alliance member organizations to further work and to develop programs to address health and wellbeing of the rare community and research readiness.

2024 Rare Disease Grant Awardees 2023 RARE Impact Grant Program Over the past decade, Global Genes’ RARE Impact Grant Program has provided grants to rare disease patient advocacy organizations that are part of the Global Advocacy Alliance to make specific, tangible differences for the communities they serve.

In 2023, these funds: Stewarded initiatives to develop educational tools and resources to improve health equity in underserved and underrepresented populations Supported in-person meetings and community building opportunities to foster collaboration, social support, education, and awareness Improved the health and mental well-being of the rare disease community, including children, siblings, caregivers/care partners and those who are grieving.
