Apply for a Grant : What We Do : REALTOR Foundation | MIBOR REALTOR Association Receive Funding From The Foundation Our Mission: The REALTOR® Foundation supports local nonprofit organizations solving homelessness. We envision a central Indiana where everyone has a safe place to call home. The Foundation provides grants of under $15,000 to organizations that are ending homelessness through permanent housing solutions.
Homelessness is often the result of, but not limited to, the following situations: domestic violence, natural disasters, mental or physical illness, addiction, income loss, or other personal tragedies.
Grants will be given to nonprofit organizations providing services in any of the following counties in the MIBOR region - Boone, Brown, Decatur, Hamilton, Hancock, Hendricks, Johnson, Madison, Marion, Montgomery, Morgan, Parke, Putnam and Shelby counties. The grant application must clearly connect the request to ending homelessness . We want to fund the permanent housing part of your work, not the emergency or temporary housing.
Often applicants are shelters, transitional housing, or homelessness services providers. We fund the last part of your work - moving families and individuals into housing. Our assistance supports the permanent housing part of programming only.
