Council provides operating funding to Vancouver's Community Centres, and annual grants to help Neighbourhood Houses and community-based seniors' groups and programs.

Groups the City assists include, among others: * West End Seniors Network * South Granville Seniors Centre * SUCCESS Seniors Quality of Life The result of this funding is a diverse array of outreach initiatives, peer counseling programs, and culturally inclusive programming for seniors.
