Recreation Trails Program (RTP) Grant Program is sponsored by Northwest Tennessee Development District (Administered by Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation). The RTP enhances both motorized and non-motorized recreation trail opportunities and provides for trail maintenance.
Funds can be used for non-routine maintenance and restoration of existing trails, development and rehabilitation of trailside and trailhead facilities, purchase/lease of trail construction/maintenance equipment, construction of new trails, and acquisition of easements or fee simple title for recreation trails or corridors.
