## **Regenerate Virginia 2026** American Farmland Trust’s Regenerate Virginia initiative is helping producers across the Commonwealth strengthen their operations, build healthier soils, and secure the future of Virginia agriculture. A statewide initiative, the work is made possible by generous anonymous supporters and AFT’s national Brighter Future Fund.
Launched in 2020, the Brighter Future Fund helps farmers nationwide navigate challenges from climate impacts to market volatility—while advancing equity, resilience, and opportunity across agriculture. In Virginia, these resources power Regenerate Virginia’s mission to advance regenerative practices, protect farmland, and strengthen agricultural communities across the Commonwealth.

Applications for the 2025****grant period are closed**. _Awards will be announced in early 2026. _ The **Farm Vitality Grant** helps Virginia farmers strengthen the long-term health and sustainability of their operations.
These funds support individualized, substantive business consulting and planning services that drive meaningful change. * **Awards:** Up to **$25,000** per producer. * **Track 1:** Equipment that supports regenerative systems, diversification, and profitability.
* **Track 2:** Business planning and professional services to advance regenerative practices or improve long-term financial and operational health. * **Track 3:** Product or market expansion that builds farm viability and aligns with regenerative agriculture principles.
