Regional Arts Partner – Springfield Area Arts Council The Regional Arts Partner Grant (RAP ) , previously known as Community Arts Access, is a re-granting program designed to give the community more access to the arts, especially among under-served populations.
The Springfield Area Arts Council awards project-based grants to community organizations that support the development of art projects in our service area of Sangamon and Menard counties. Through this program’s partnership opportunities, SAAC aims to create lasting relationships with local businesses, organizations, and individuals , help ing to enrich the community by promoting and supporting all art forms .
Springfield Area Arts Council acknowledges support from the Illinois Arts Council. Read the Regional Arts Partner Guidelines. Download the Regional Arts Partner Application Materials and submit all supporting documents by the deadline.
During this one-hour webinar, SAAC staff discuss application tips and best practices. Participants may ask questions and get answers in real time. Please register by emailing office@springfieldartsco.

For all FY26 Grantees, submit your Final Report within 14 days of the ending date of the project. All reports must show completely and accurately how the project / program occurred. The report must be signed by the project/program director.
Incomplete or unsigned reports will be returned. Submit at least one (1) but no more than three (3) crediting materials along with each report. Download the report templates and complete each one in its entirety.
Submit each document along with required crediting materials and optional photos by email or by mailing / dropping off to the Springfield Area Arts Council office at 420 S 6th St, Springfield, IL 62701 .
