Regional Planning Commission Grants (Alabama) is sponsored by Alabama Department of Economic and Community Affairs (ADECA). These grants are provided to Alabama's 12 regional planning commissions to address local needs and priorities, including job creation, regional/community planning, and quality of life issues.

ADECA – Impacting Alabama Low-Income Home Energy Assistance (LIHEAP) The objectives of the Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) are to help low-income families meet the costs of home energy, defined as heating and cooling of residences, and to increase their energy self-sufficiency and reduce their vulnerability resulting from energy needs.

Public comments will be taken and considered for a 30-day period beginning on March 1, 2026, and ending at the close of business on March 30, 2026.
