Funding & Assistance | Delaware Valley Regional Planning Commission DVRPC has several funding and technical assistance programs that help the region’s local governments and other partners to plan, design, and implement projects. Additionally, DVRPC can provide letters of support for grant applications that help to forward and achieve regional goals as identified in the Long-Range Plan.
Requests for support letters from DVRPC should be submitted at least ten (10) business days before the requested due date.
Funding & Assistance Programs - Any - Funding Technical Assistance - Any - Community Planning Economic Development Environment Transportation Planning Complete Streets Resurfacing Program DVRPC works with PennDOT and the five Southeastern Pennsylvania counties to add complete street facilities during scheduled resurfacing projects.
Congestion Mitigation and Air Quality Improvement Program (CMAQ) The competitive Congestion Mitigation and Air Quality Improvement Program funds transportation projects that improve air quality and reduce congestion. The Expo program offers assistance to communities to test innovative solutions to transportation problems through demonstration, or pop-up projects.
Municipal Bridge Retro-Reimbursement Program DVRPC's Municipal Bridge Retro-Reimbursement Program (MBRP) funds locally owned bridge rehabilitation or replacement projects within Bucks, Chester, Delaware, and Montgomery counties. The Safe Routes to School (SRTS) program is administered by the New Jersey Department of Transportation (NJDOT), in partnership with the DVRPC.
NJ Transportation Alternatives Set-Aside Program DVRPC works with each state DOT to administer the Transportation Alternatives Set-Aside Program. Learn more about the New Jersey funding program.
The PA Coastal Zone Program provides grants to governments, nonprofit organizations, and educational institutions for projects that improve water quality, enhance public enjoyment of and access to coastal resources, and mitigate the adverse impacts of stormwater runoff and nonpoint source pollution.
