Regional Woodland Creation Grants - Tree Planting Grants Regional Woodland Creation Grants Our local Woodland Creation Partners offer a wide range of highly competitive funding, across specific regional catchment areas in England. These grants are available for various types of tree planting projects including agroforestry.

Woodland Creation Partners With generous grants, advice and support for tree planting, forest creation, agroforestry and habitat management in the Midlands, the team at the National Forest can help you realise the future potential of your land.
Available to landowners within the 200 square miles of the National Forest, grant schemes offer funding to cover design, planning and up to 100% of implementation and maintenance costs, with schemes from 0. 25 hectares. Our experienced Woodland Creation Officers, based at 15 Community Forests across the country, will work with you from your first enquiry right through to delivery, and long-term management of your woodland. Our flexible grants support a range of woodland creation schemes, cover up to 100% of costs and include up to 15 years maintenance payments to ensure your planting thrives.

We offer expert advice and flexible funding packages to support landowners with any size of tree planting projects from initial planning and design, to securing funding and regulatory approval.

Great Northumberland Forest Covering 200 square miles of the Midlands, spanning parts of Derbyshire, Leicestershire, and Staffordshire. Covering 10,000 square miles from Liverpool and Chester to Hull, through Manchester, Salford, Bradford, Leeds and Sheffield, as well as Lancashire, much of North Yorkshire and parts of Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire and Lincolnshire.
