Sustainable, quality, physical rehabilitation services will enable all Ukrainians to optimize their functioning, fully integrate within society, and participate in the economic recovery and growth of the country.
For implementation of this activity, USAID seeks to utilize a systems approach, focusing on government ownership, development of physical rehabilitation services for long-term sustainability, and simultaneously applying a person-centered approach to address the distinct rehabilitation needs of individuals a nd the communities that support them, while also addressing urgent needs and gaps in rehabilitation.
The specific target population will be civilian victims of war, persons with disabilities, veterans, the rehabilitation workforce, training institutions, and the Government of Ukraine (GOU).
