COTC’s Coshocton Promise Program Expands The Coshocton Promise college tuition program at Central Ohio Technical College (COTC) is expanding in 2026. The program started in 2018 offering free college tuition to underprivileged students.
The original threshold was an annual household income of $60,000 or less, but COTC recently raised the limit to $100,000. Distribution Committee Awards Unrestricted Grants – January 2026 The Distribution Committee of the Coshocton Foundation had their first meeting of Fiscal Year 2026 recently and reviewed 23 Unrestricted Grant Applications totaling $588,196. 85. The committee awarded several total and partial grants totaling $116,094.

Access the application here: 2026 High School Scholarship Application Coshocton Foundation Announces Change in Check Acceptance Policy Coshocton Foundation Executive Director Bob Pell has announced that effective September 1, 2025, when contributors are making their donation to the Foundation or one of its underlying funds with a check, that it must be made payable to the Coshocton Foundation.
This is due to a change in the banking industry in an attempt to combat check fraud, which has become rampant. The billing statement must show the amount owed for tuition, fees, room and board, etc. It should also show any other grants or loans you may have. The billing statement must reflect that you owe money . If you have a credit balance, the Coshocton Foundation cannot issue a check.
All checks will be made out and sent to your college or university. No checks will be written to individuals. (We are not trying to be difficult — these are the rules by which we must abide!)

org . Please include a telephone number where we can contact you if we have any questions. If you will not need to use your scholarship during your first year of college, please advise us when you expect to submit a billing statement for payment.
Attention Schools Seeking Grants Due to changes in IRS regulations, all grants from elementary, middle and high schools need to be made through the appropriate school district. In other words, where the application says “Name of Applying Organization,” the school district itself must be listed. The contact person may be listed as the actual individual representing the elementary, etc. school, with the person’s contact information.
The grant application should also be made clear what school and program the grant is for. Also, the EIN of the school district needs to be reflected on the application. If you have questions, please contact the Foundation.

ACCESS is the most underused source of AI compute in the United States, largely because researchers assume national supercomputing requires the kind of proposal machinery that a federal research grant demands. It does not. The entry tier, Explore, requires only a one-page abstract, is reviewed on a rolling basis and is typically approved within days - and it does not require PI status, which means graduate students, postdocs and teaching staff can hold allocations in their own right. Four tiers scale with need. Explore, up to 400,000 ACCESS Credits, is intended for resource evaluation, graduate student projects and small classes or training events. Discover, up to 1,500,000 credits, fits research grants with modest resource needs and larger courses. Accelerate, up to 3,000,000 credits, targets experienced users with mid-scale needs and is explicitly framed as preparation for a Maximize request. Maximize is the top tier for large-scale research activity, is awarded in resource units rather than credits, and unlike the lower tiers is competitive and cyclical - requests are accepted every six months, with the Maximize window in 2026 running from 15 June to 31 July. Explore, Discover and Accelerate accept requests at any time and permit multiple concurrent submissions. The resource pool spans modeling and analysis systems, GPU-oriented systems, large-memory nodes and storage across NSF-funded sites, which makes it directly usable for model training, fine-tuning, inference at scale and large-scale data processing. The practical strategy is laddered: take an Explore allocation to benchmark a workload, use the resulting evidence to justify Discover or Accelerate, and only then attempt Maximize with real scaling data in hand. For teams whose funding proposals need a credible compute plan, an existing ACCESS allocation is also strong supporting evidence.
