Call for applications: Research Grant for Fore... - Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Atlanta 駐亞特蘭大台北經濟文化辦事處 Call for applications: Research Grant for Foreign Scholars in Chinese Studies and Taiwan Fellowship The Center for Chinese Studies (CCS) wants to let you know about two research grants: Research Grant for Foreign Scholars in Chinese Studies and the Taiwan Fellowship.
The programs are for foreign scholars in the humanities, social sciences and Chines or Taiwanese Studies, including professors, associate professors, assistant professors, Ph. D. candidates and researchers at overseas universities and academic institutes who wish to carry out research in Taiwan for between three months and one year.
The programs provide a monthly stipend and a direct round-trip economy class ticket. Applications for the 2020 Research Grant for Foreign Scholars in Chinese Studies must be sent (electronically or by air mail) by May 31, 2019. Applications for the 2020 Taiwan Fellowship, which CCS administers on behalf of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, will be accepted between May 1 and June 30, 2019.
